It’s on again – after the hugely popular winter jumble sale the Animal Welfare League of Qld is holding a jumble sale specially focused on mums and bubs with entertainment from Rebel FM.
The public will be able to grab a bargain at the Mums and Bubs jumble sale on Saturday November 19 at the Coombabah Shelter on Shelter Road.
Items for sale will include kids clothing, babies and kid’s toys, nursery items, women’s summer clothing and more.
Communications Manager Brooke Whitney said the jumble sale is a good time to get new clothes and toys while helping the shelter.
“Money is tight for so many families and with Christmas coming up we know the purse strings are only going to get tighter,” Ms Whitney explained.
“With all items at only $2 and the opportunity to fill a standard plastic shopping bag for just $10 it really is an opportunity not to be missed.”
All funds raised from the jumble sale will go directly to the ongoing costs the Animal Welfare League accumulate through re-homing, feeding and veterinary care of over 10,000 stray and abandoned animals in South East Queensland each year.
Running from 10am to 1pm bargain hunters will not only be spoilt for choices but entertainment with a cake stall, BBQ and live broadcast from Rebel FM.
To donate any gently loved items for the jumble sale, drop them at the Coombabah Shelter or any one of their seven op shops on the Gold Coast by Saturday November 12.
