The 6th International Conference on Happiness & Its Causes will pose the following questions:
- How can we lead happier and more fulfilled lives?
- How can we overcome bad habits and harmful ways of thinking?
- Is it possible to feel hopeful about the future of our world?
- What lessons about human happiness and wellbeing can we learn from animals?
- If compassion is an emotion why don’t we have it for everyone?
- Is it possible to train our minds to be more caring and compassionate?
- What is the link between altruism and happiness?
- Is happiness a process rather than an emotional destination?
- How does happiness differ across cultures?
- What effect do outside circumstances have on our happiness?
- What kind of thinking is useful in our quest for a happier, more contented and peaceful life?
- How do we raise and teach our children to be happy?
In less than 12 weeks, over 50 renowned world-class speakers will descend on Brisbane for the world’s largest and most important conference on human happiness debating these (and many more!) questions.
