Neighbourhood Watch is a voluntary non-profit organisation aimed to improve safety and security within our homes, neighbourhoods and communities.
Money raised from each year’s raffle is donated to various worthwhile programs held on the mountain.
At our next meeting, to be held at the Tamborine Mountain Golf Clubhouse on 25 May at 1.30pm, we will be making a donation to the Tamborine Mountain Defensive Driving Schools’ Program.
At a Neighbourhood Watch meeting earlier this year, members all agreed that a donation towards this program was invaluable as it aims to keep young drivers safe.

There were two prizes to win again this year.
The first prize (a beautiful display of Easter eggs with a soft toy in a laundry basket arranged by Yvonne and Sergio Oselladore ) was won by John Howard from Boonah.
Second prize (a bag of Easter eggs) was won by Steve and Ann Murphy from Tamborine Mountain.
Thank you to everyone who generously supported our raffle and thank you to the Neighbourhood Watch volunteers who gave up time on their weekend to make the day a success.

About Neighbourhood Watch
Neighbourhood Watch is a programme organised by the community in order to reduce residential crime. It is about working together as a community to improve our personal safety and household security. Most importantly, it is about encouraging interaction and a sense of responsibility between neighbours and communities.
Householders are encouraged to join together in small informal groups for the purpose of improving the safety of their families and other neighbourhood residents. It is not a police scheme.
Police only lend their expertise to enable residents to organise themselves for the purpose of minimising crime in their community. Neighbourhood Watch will only work if the community supports the scheme.
