The voice of conservative Australia has backed The Australian Party and Aidan McLindon in a video message to the inaugural Party Convention over the weekend. Alan Jones has backed the party for its common sense policies, particularly in regards to the unbridled expansion of the flawed Coal Seam Gas industry.

“I’m for Aidan McLindon and Bob Katter because they’ve said quite clearly, this nonsense won’t go on,” Mr Jones said.
“Aidan McLindon and his team have been the lone outspoken voices, most probably the only people not on the payroll of mining companies”.
Disappointed in not being able to attend the convention in person, Mr Jones attacked the other parties on their stance on the issue and their lack of action.
“We’re not going to let bastards in government, and I don’t care what government, Liberal, National Party, Labor Party, we’re not going to let the bastards destroy people’s lives, destroy our food security, destroy our public health.
“I don’t know about this can do or can’t do stuff. To me it’s a heap of rubbish. I’m sick of slogans."
“This is not an election about shallow fakes; this is an election about fair dinkum people. Simple straight forward people who allow common sense to rule what they are about. Not owned by mining companies, not prisoners of mining companies, prisoners of common sense and decency.”
Alan Jones’ comments were well received by the eclectic convention crowd that included environmentalist Drew Hutton, country music legend James Blundell, ETU leader Dean Mighell and supporters from all across the country.
Acknowledging the importance for real change at this election Alan Jones provided advice and support for Aidan McLindon, and the sixty plus candidates the Party has amassed;
“It’s time to stop being nice guys. This is a critical election, and I will do what I can to make sure the future of this state is not turned over to greedy, profit dominated multi-national mining companies."
“Aidan McLindon, you’re 32, you’re young, you’ve got energy, you’ve got conviction and you stand for something because you’ve listened to the public speak. I wish you well. I’m honoured that you’ve asked me to speak today. I wish everybody there good luck”.
