Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!" Robin Williams.
Spring is also the time when the Tamborine Mountain Garden Club presents the ever popular, Springtime on the Mountain.
Add on Friday 30th September, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October from 9am - 4pm to your diary to stroll through some of the most beautiful gardens on the Mountain.
Springtime on the Mountain is the one main event each year where the club raises funds to help with the ongoing infrastructure and maintenance costs for the Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens as well as Mountain Community Groups.
Proud garden owners open their properties to the public for three days in spring.
Visitors enjoy the wide range of plants and trees that grow here on the mountain in the unique temperate/subtropical climate.
"We hope that this year will be a success as well as bringing more visitors to our beautiful mountain over the three days," said Leonie Rowe, Secretary of the Tamborine Mountain Garden Club.
"We have such a wonderful kaleidoscope of businesses and attractions here on Tamborine Mountain and I am sure that many businesses will benefit from the additional visitor numbers and that will be profitable to the mountain" she said.
Garden Club plants lovingly propagated by the group called the "Potty Potters" will be available for sale at one garden, and at another, the Garden Club Cafe and the "Harmony In Voice Singing Group" will perform for your enjoyment.
Coach Groups can be catered for and complimentary itineraries prepared to avoid congestion. $15.00 Trail Passes (Dependent children free) are available at all Open Gardens and the Botanic Gardens, Forsythia Drive Eagle Heights.
