Following the birth of her own daughter, Karin searched for lullabies from around the world to soothe her baby.
Now she shares them in Cradle Songs and invites parents to share her experience as a musician and a parent.
Karin is one of the most outstanding guitarists on the international scene.
She performs widely on the international stage as a recitalist, concert soloist and festival guest, and has given countless recitals in Australia, Europe, Asia, the US, Mexico and Canada.
Karin’s playing receives the highest acclaim from critics and audiences alike and she is held in great esteem by her peers worldwide.
Her unique stage presence and magical, passionate playing has inspired several composers to write works especially for her. Karin is currently pregnant with her second child and Cradle Songs will be her last performance before the baby is born in April.
Inspired by research into early childhood development, Cradle Songs invites parents to interact with their babies and the artist and hear from an infant specialist.
