Opening in Brisbane on Wednesday 4 May Love Let Me Out is the provocative yet funny new Australian play by playwright and actor Craig Hearps. It is his fourth play.

His last play The Glass Kiss ran a successful season in the Byron Shire, NSW, with capacity houses and standing ovation.
Love Let Me Out is about therapist Dylan James (played by Brisbane actor Adam Fawns) who is deeply passionate about healing people’s addictions yet is himself addicted to work.
The play explores Dylan’s quirks and charms as he navigates tricky terrain re-establishing a relationship with Abigail (Belinda Small) that broke up because she wasn't getting enough attention.
Age old dilemmas are explored and turned on their head in this play that has as much laughs as it has gravitas of drama.
"Producing and directing a play in Brisbane was a far greater challenge than I expected, but it is proving to be a wild and exhilarating ride, with support coming from many angles," said award winning theatre producer Iris Ray Nunn (best production 2009 Art and 2010 and Fantastic Mr. Fox - Gold Coast and Area Performing Arts Awards).
Together with playwright/co-producer/co-director/actor Craig Hearps (he wears so many hats he sometimes thinks he's a hatstand), they bring their production nous to Queensland’s capital.
The play combines quality players from Brisbane and Byron Bay in a marriage of diverse ideologies. The playwright, producers and directors and actor are from the open spaces of Byron Bay; six actors are from cloistered Brisbane, so too the violinist and tech crew.
The play is running only eight shows over two weeks (May 4 - 7 and 11 - 14) at the Studio, Metro Arts in Edward Street, Brisbane and tours to Byron Bay at Byron Bay Community Theatre on May 20 and 21.
