The Gold Coast Indie Film and Television Network returns this year on 3 May at 6.30pm with a new look venue at the Basement Arts Centre Gold Coast.

Caroline Russo who is founder of the network has the great pleasure to present Producers Steven Caldwell and Kris Mavic.
Steven Caldwell (of Caldwell Entertainment) is making a name for himself on the Australian film scene. The young up and coming producer was part of the team responsible for Bad Behaviour, starring John Jarrett.

Caldwell is looking forward to sharing his story with the network, what he is working on now and just what it takes to keep up with an industry that is so competitive.
The GCIFTN's second guest on the evening will be the dynamic Kris Mavic, a producer who has worked in film, television, theatre and music.
She packs an impressive CV which references her work with the Queensland Theatre Company, Village Roadshow, Cootes/Hayes and productions in association with Columbia Pictures, Warner Bros, Columbia Tristar Pictures and Revolution Studios.
Her work has taken her throughout Australia and to the UK. Her experience and knowledge of the industry is extensive as is her passion for producing quality work.
Singer /songwriter Jes McGarry will open up the night, performing two songs off his debut album, "Everyday Is A Holiday." Performing alongside Jes will be local R&B talent Danny Fai Fai.
McGarry is a former soldier, who joined the Army at age 17. Now in his late 20's, McGarry is making his mark in hip hop and R&B. The track "Really", (which he will perform on the night) from his debut album is a tribute to soldiers who have lost their live serving their country and is donating all the profits of the song back to Legacy for the diggers.
The GCIFTN is also proud to present some of Steven Caldwell's latest work as to the recent film clips of Jes Mcgarry music videos.
With The Arts Centre Gold Coast recently completing renovations in the Basement, the GCFTN is excited to be back for another year.
This is a network that has been formed to provide a great meeting ground and to help showcase the work for all film industry folks, and to anyone that is keen to learn more and to meet the local and professionals from all fields of the industry.
