The Scenic Rim Business Excellence Awards were announced at a gala dinner and ceremony held at The Centre, in Beaudesert on Friday 2nd December.
The Scenic Rim Regional Council joined forces with the Beaudesert Chamber of Commerce to acknowledge the exceptional contribution made by small business to the local economy and community.
The objectives of the awards were:
- To recognise the important role the business community plays in the Scenic Rim
- To encourage innovation, business excellence and good corporate citizenship, and
- To present businesses with the opportunity to be rewarded for excellence and business success
The event saw 19 businesses nominated for the awards.
There was a sell-out crowd of over 200 who joined together to celebrate the evening with a two-course meal and entertainment from an 8-piece band.
Tamborine Mountain should be very proud that two of our local businesses received awards.

Stephen Hall & Associates received the award for “Business Growth”, whilst the Polish Place received the award for “Business Sustainability”.
Since taking over their accounting practice in North Tamborine, Stephen Hall & Associates have indeed enjoyed tremendous growth which they attribute to the high level of expertise and customer service and care.
