Interested in Photography?

Why not share some time with like minded people? Tamborine Mountain Photography Club (TMPC) is about to be launched and anybody with an interest in photography or is keen to start a new hobby is welcome to attend.
The group is intended to be a casual meeting to discuss all things related to photography from the basic to more detailed. Subjects for discussion will include, understanding your camera, composition, exposure, lighting etc.etc.
The club will also have photo critique sessions to help us learn and better improve our photographic skills and occasional guest speakers will be invited to talk about various photography related subjects.
As things evolve the TMPC hope to be able to organise photography exhibitions to show off their member's talents and creativity to the general public and have the opportunity to sell prints.
Tamborine Mountain Community Care (TMCCA) have agreed to allow the photography club to use their offices at 42 Southport Avenue, Eagle Heights and the cost to attend is just $5 per head, per session with all monies being donated to TMCCA.
The inaugural meeting is to be held Thursday 20th January 2011 and then the third Thursday of each month thereafter, time 7.00pm to 9.30pm.
