Tamborine Cooking School is located amongst 2 acres of gardens on the Western Escarpment overlooking the Albert Valley on Tamborine Mountain in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland in South East Queensland.

Terri Taylor, Chef and Proprietor, is a professional chef and loves nothing more than sharing her experience with tips, tricks and chef secrets so you too can produce truly delicious results at home. She is passionate about the local produce of Tamborine Mountain and promotes and uses them in all her menus.
Tamborine has a wealth of fresh, quality local produce. Lots of samples and tastings of seasonal olives, macadamia, dukka and cheeses can be enjoyed throughout the day.
The local wines are also on show and are served to complement each courses. Terri believes that "there is a lot more to Tamborine than our famous rhubarb and avocados!"

A four course themed lunch menu is prepared and guests can be hands on or sit and watch the demonstration.
The various cuisines that Terri demonstrates can be classic French, Middle Eastern, light Asian or modern Australian. Terri is also happy to tailor the menu to a specific request or theme. The menus use fresh seasonal produce, cooked in traditional ways but with a modern, healthy twist.
Many of the vegetables herbs and fruits are grown organically in Terri's garden at the Tamborine Cooking School.
Each lesson will include:
- Morning tea with local coffee on arrival
- Tastings of local products
- Information on where to find produce in the area
- Printed recipes
You will learn knife skills and be able to ask questions and learn the tricks of the trade including some secret ingredients which will transform your cooking.
Take time to relax and stroll through the gardens a browse a cook book from Terri's extensive culinary library.
The Tamborine Cooking School classes are ideal as a day out for lunch with friends. Class sizes are from 2 to 18. Be sure to book well ahead as Terri's classes are in high demand.
