While you are staying on the mountain, you may need a book to relax by the fire with or read while soaking in a fragrant spa bath. You may want a special book to read to your child or a specialist book for the teenager.

Piccabeen Bookshop in North Tamborine is not just for second hand books. They also sells new books, written by local authors, hardcover, paperbacks, children's books, novels, non-fiction and magazines. You may also discover the book you have been looking for and have not been able to find.
The Piccabeen Bookshop stocks thousands of books so you are sure to find one for your budget; from only fifty cents up to a few dollars.
The shop is owned and run by the volunteers of Tamborine Mountain Landcare so the proceeds of book sales is directly funding forest rehabilitation projects here on Tamborine Mountain.
The Piccabeen Bookshop also has Information relating to Tamborine Mountain Landcare, and you can register to be a member or renew your membership at any time.
In our 'Green' age, buying a pre-loved book is a real way to contribute to the preservation of Tamborine Mountain's beautiful and unique nature and of course, tree preservation on our planet.
If you have books to donate, the 'Piccabeens' are happy to provide them with a new home.
Call in today and support the volunteers running the shop. They are always happy to help with your book request and local knowledge.
The shop is open every week day from 9.30 am - 4 pm, and Saturdays from 9.30am - 1 pm.
